Schooling for orphans from crisis zones
Urgent schooling for orphaned children: a call for educational solidarity
For several years, certain regions of Cameroon have been experiencing a crisis that is profoundly impacting children and families. Among the most worrying consequences is the gradual withdrawal of children from school, particularly orphans whose mothers are left to shoulder the burden of their children’s education and financial responsibilities alone.
The Étoiles du Cameroun Association has been alerted to several cases of orphaned children from these areas. Lacking resources, these children risk missing the current school year, thus compromising their future.
Recognising the importance of education for the protection and development of young people, the association has decided to mobilize to raise the necessary school fees and educational materials (notebooks, pens, school bags, etc.). Beyond addressing the immediate crisis, this project aims to restore the right to education, give these children a future, and support their families in a more stable integration process.
Those wishing to support this initiative can contribute through material or financial donations, or simply by sharing information. Because a child in school is a child who retains hope, Étoiles du Cameroun invites everyone to take action so that these orphans can continue their education
