Relocating a vulnerable family: a new step towards dignity
As part of the #lightastar campaign, a delegation from the Étoiles du Cameroun Association visited a family who had been living on the streets yesterday to provide concrete support.
Thanks to the generosity of a benefactor who provided housing, the family was relocated to a safe home, marking a crucial step towards stability and rebuilding their lives.
This action represents a major turning point for the couple and their children, including a two-year-old daughter and a baby on the way.
Beyond simply providing housing, the association offered essential material support to facilitate their settling in: a bed and mattress, cooking utensils, and basic food supplies.
This intervention represents not just a change of residence, but a real step towards restoring dignity and independence. The goal now is to support the family in a sustainable recovery, particularly through the search for employment opportunities.
