WHO WE ARE

Étoiles du Cameroun is a non-profit organization based in Cameroon, born from a simple yet ambitious vision: to make science, education, and development accessible to all, regardless of social background, gender, or place of residence.

The organization acts as a bridge between scientific knowledge, local practices, innovation, and social empowerment.

Étoiles du Cameroun was born from a deep conviction: Cameroon’s sustainable development depends on access to knowledge, science, and concrete solutions rooted in local realities.

The association was founded by Marie Solange, a young Cameroonian woman driven by a strong educational and social vision, fueled by her observation of inequalities in access to scientific education, economic opportunities, and the tools for understanding the modern world, particularly in rural and peri-urban communities.

In response to these observations, Étoiles du Cameroun was created as a space for social innovation, aiming to bridge science, practical learning, and sustainable agriculture in order to offer accessible, useful, and lasting solutions to the challenges of local development.

From its inception, the association’s mission has been to cultivate talent, awaken scientific curiosity, strengthen skills, and encourage the autonomy of individuals and communities. Today, Étoiles du Cameroun is part of a dynamic of progressive growth, with the ambition of becoming a reference in applied scientific education and community development in Cameroon and beyond.
